Campus Updates

UCF will be moving all courses to an online format effective on Monday, March 16th and students have been asked to avoid campus, if possible, for at least the next two weeks. Advising offices will remain operational.  However, to align with university’s priority to keep students, faculty, and staff healthy, we will not be meeting with students in person until further notice. In order to receive advising support, please call or email your advisor or advising office in order to schedule an appointment via phone or video conferencing software.

General Education Program (GEP)

The purpose of the General Education Program (GEP) is to introduce students to a broad range of human knowledge and intellectual pursuits, equip them with the analytic and expressive skills required to engage in those pursuits, develop their ability to think critically, and prepare them for life-long learning.

Students who transfer without an Associate of Arts from a Florida public college or university must complete the UCF General Education Program (GEP). Students who have earned their Associate of Arts degree from a Florida public college, or who have completed the requirement at a Florida public institution and have General Education Requirements Met placed on their official transcripts, are considered to meet the UCF GEP requirement.

A selection of scholarships are available through Financial Aid. A full listing of scholarships at UCF can be found on the Student Financial Assistance website.
