Successful Early Exploration (SEE) UCF

The SEE UCF program is designed for prospective transfer students from Valencia College who are in their first year. The program focuses on assisting students decide on which UCF major is the best fit and the importance of early transfer preparation. Additionally, the program provides a VIP look at key resources that UCF provides during the transition including Career Services, Office of Student Involvement, and Housing and Residence Life. Bagels with TTS

The best way to start your first semester at UCF is to get to know your resources. Bagels with TTS offers new transfer students an opportunity to personally connect with key UCF resources such as Career Services, the Office of Student Involvement, Student Academic Resource Center, Undergraduate Research, LEAD Scholars and much more. Additionally, transfer students get to interact with each other, participate in a drawing for UCF SPIRIT PRIZES, as well as enjoy FREE BAGELS AND COFFEE. This event is held during the first week of the fall and spring semesters.

Are you on the Knight Track?: Transfer Student Seminar

Transitioning to one of the largest universities in the United States can be overwhelming. It is important to start your semester off right if you want to achieve success at UCF. The Transfer Student Seminar can assist with this by providing new transfer students crucial information and advice on faculty insights, financial assistance and scholarships, career development, resources for wellness as well as student led conversations on getting involved at UCF. This event allows includes FREE FOOD and a drawing for UCF Spirit Prizes. This event is held during the first week of the fall and spring semesters.

If you feel your semester is in need of a recharge to make it to finals, then Pizza with TTS is the perfect event for you. Come check-in with us and let us know how everything is going for you this term. Also, personally connect with key UCF resources that can assist with avoiding Transfer Shock such as UCF Cares, Recreation and Wellness Center, University Omsbud Office, UCF Pantry and much more! As always, this event provides an opportunity to connect with fellow transfer students as well as a drawing for UCF Spirit Prizes and FREE PIZZA. This event is held during the middle of the fall and spring semesters.

Family Day BBQ for Transfer Students and Student Veterans

One of the most important elements of a successful academic experience is the folks supporting the transfer student along the way. Come help us show your family our appreciation at the Family Day BBQ at UCF’s Lake Claire Recreation Facility. At this event enjoy family oriented activities, connect with resources, and enjoy the fun activities that Lake Claire offers. As always, FREE FOOD and a drawing for UCF Spirit Prizes will be available. This event is a transfer community collaboration between the offices of Transfer and Transition Services and the Veteran Academic Resource Center.

Career Development Summit

To achieve career success at graduation, you must start your preparation your first year at UCF. Let us help by providing a backstage pass to key Career Services resources at the Career Development Summit. At this event, you will learn the importance of career readiness and the tools you need to ensure success. Also, FREE FOOD and a drawing for PROFESSIONAL GEAR will be available. This event is a transfer community collaboration between the offices of Career Services and Transfer and Transition Services.

Multicultural Transfer Student Reception and Transfer Talks

The Multicultural Academic and Support Services (MASS) office collaborates with Transfer and Transition Services to assist Multicultural and First Generation transfer students with support services and programs including the Transfer Student Reception and Transfer Talks. Transfer Advising Workshop

The Transfer Advising Workshop provides an opportunity for advisors and administrators from the UCF and Florida state college transfer advising community to get together for information sharing and professional networking. This event provides the latest university updates about admissions, financial assistance, academic programs and transfer student initiatives. Attendees will attend interactive breakout sessions which focus on majors, potential career options, and also key updates from the colleges. This event is held in the fall semester.
