Student Advising
We help with pre-admission advising, prerequisites for the major, major requirements, major deadlines, foreign language requirements, and information on transfer equivalencies.
We also advise undecided students, students changing majors, students not admitted to limited access programs, and undeclared transfers "disqualified" and seeking re-admission.
Our Peer Mentors are former transfer students who are now current UCF students. They are part of the advising team for prospective and current students. The Peers promote campus engagement through the Transfer Knights club.
Students who start at UCF as freshmen and students who transfer to UCF without meeting the General Education Program must meet this requirement. Students who transfer with an A.A. from a Florida community college, state college, or a Florida state university have met the General Education requirement.
Declared students have specific advising locations depending on the college of their major.
