Registration and Orientation

All transfer students must attend Orientation. Once you have been admitted to UCF, a postcard will be mailed to you from the Orientation Center. Access the Orientation Center Web site at http://www.orientation.ucf.edu to reserve your place. Please follow instructions carefully; address any questions to the Orientation Center staff at (407) 823-5105. Students attend Orientation on a space-available basis. We recommend that you attend the earliest Orientation possible for the best choices in course selection.

The Orientation program will assist you with your transition to UCF by providing information about student services, campus life, financial aid, academic support, and university policies and programs. At Orientation you will meet in a group setting with academic advisors from your college or major and prepare to register for classes. Please bring unofficial transcripts to Orientation for advisement; the transcripts sent to Undergraduate Admissions are not available to the advisors at Orientation. For more information about how to prepare for Orientation, check out our Orientation Survival Guide here.

During Orientation new transfer students will register for classes. Registration is available for currently enrolled students online, using myUCF in the college advising offices, and at open computer labs. To help make registration easier, familiarize yourself with academic and registration policies and procedures in the UCF Undergraduate Catalog or Web Enrollment Guide; they are usually different from policies at other institutions.
