Academic Advising
TTS can help you with information about pre-admission advising, prerequisites for the major, major requirements, application deadlines, foreign language requirements, information on UCF's General Education Program, and transfer course equivalencies.
We also advise undecided students, students changing majors, students not admitted to limited access programs, and undeclared students seeking re-admission. We have a Major Exploration section that explains the drawbacks of being undeclared, and provides resources that can help you decide on a major.
Students who start at UCF as freshmen or transfer to UCF (without meeting the general education program) must meet this requirement. Students who are exempt from UCF's GEP are students who transfer with an A.A. from a Florida community college, state college, or Florida State University. Review UCF's catalog section on the General Education Program.
TTS's Peer Mentors, former transfer students who are now current UCF students, are also part of the advising team for prospective and current students. Contact a Peer Mentor for help in preparing for your transition to UCF. They can assist with a variety of issues.
